Goa - India’s Pride and Paradise
In as early as the 15th century Goa was known for its cotton cloth, rare woods, jewels, silk, and spices for the European traders like the Dutch, English, French, and the Portuguese. This was started during the discovery of the sea route to west coast of India by the man named Vasco da Gama that leads the Europeans to land and trade.
The history tells that the west coast of India was once dominated and even ruled by the European particularly the Portuguese who was the first to gain and establish control on the west coast—that shows Goa was once an attractive place for the European traders.
Today, Goa India becomes one of India’s tourist spot that attract domestic and foreign visitors from around the world. The state of Goa itself has several tourist spot destinations that include beaches, festivals, parties, historical places, arts, temples, and more.
However, Goa is still campaigning to attract more travelers to visit and make a Goa Vacation experience for their visitors, especially foreigners from around the world. Goa’s tourism population has an 80% of domestic visitors and 20% are coming from foreign countries. Nonetheless, Goa is optimistic that their tourism would rise sooner because they believe Goa is attractive when it comes to tourist attraction and culture.
In addition, the state of Goa is known for their flee market that is held on the west coast and beaches of Goa that provides many option for the visitors to buy cheap jewelries, clothes, and artifacts that usually sold by Indian nationals. So, if you are planning to have a unique vacation in Asia. Goa India is one of the ideal destination spot because it is the place where you can enjoy green sceneries and rich culture of India aside from visiting the famous Taj Mahal.
